Our Mission
Thirty years ago on August 24, 1991 (or 824), Ukraine gained it's independence from Russia. Much of the world considers the recent invasion an unprovoked attack on a sovereign nation, killing more than 2,224 innocent citizens--173 of them children. There remain many more displaced and injured who need aid in the form of food, shelter for families, transportation to the border, and medical supplies. Similar to Task Force Pineapple of Afghanistan, our mission is to fill in the gaps and assist where needed.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – A former Vietnam refugee and American combat veteran is using his decades of experience to help Ukrainians.
Quan Nguyen has seen all sides of war.
He just got back from two months in Kyiv and Lviv, Ukraine, where he helped refugees.
He says one of the toughest things he saw was an injured four-year-old in the back of an ambulance calling for his mom.
“We can’t help everybody but, just knowing that you were able to be part of somebody’s future and helping them escape. Who knows, that person could be the person that cures cancer.”
- Quan Nguyen
